Crosshaven drew with Cobh at home last Sunday October 18th 2009. Crosshaven were probably the better of the teams but were just unable to capitalise on their territorial and possession advantages. Crosshaven will rue some missed kicks but in the end were happy to secure a late penalty to gain the draw. It should be a very open and interesting junior league this year with defending champs Cashel being beaten in their first match and newly demoted Waterpark in the junior league for the first time in a while. Next Sunday its away to Clonmel who lost their first league match last week and will be looking to get things going again.
