Crosshaven had a great win at home against Waterpark last Sunday February 21st against former AIL side Waterpark. First half tries put Crosshaven into a comfortable position. The win really boosts Crosshaven's chances of staying in Division One. It is getting very tight in the relegation battle, with Crosshaven, Thurles, Kilfeacle and Clonmel all involved in a battle to stay up. The lads have a deserved day off this weekend with the next fixture being our last league match against St. Senans on Sunday March 3rd 2010. The team has had a great comeback over the past month with wins over St. Senans (In the cup), Cashel and Waterpark (In the league), a draw against Thurles and a narrow loss to table toppers Tralee. It puts them in a great position to stay up in the league and also to carry some form into the Junior Cup. |
