The J2s had a great win over local rivals Carrigaline (for a second time this year!!!) last Sunday morning in the J2 Cup Plate. It was a great showing from the lads especially as a number of players were involved in the J1 squad. Crosshaven went in 14-8 ahead at halftime but a penalty and Tommy Hill try finished off Carrigaline. They now play Tralee in the next round. It will be an opportunity for Tralee to gain revenge for Crosshaven's last gasp victory in Tralee earlier in the season. Upcoming J2 fixtures: Sunday 5th April: South Munster J2 Cup Plate AWAY to Tralee K.O. 1430. |
