The J2s suffered a heavy defeat on Sunday morning away to a good Dolphin team. A combination of factors contributed to such a large loss. Dolphin had actually lost to Crosshaven each of the last two seasons and were looking for revenge, and had a very good team playing. For Crosshaven it was a case of injuries and unfortunately, non attendance by some players on Sunday morning which meant that the J2s were always going to lose. The team started with 8 front row players in the pack which is an indication of how short we were!! Credit to the players that turned up as they did their best and to all who helped out on the day. Its a case of forgetting this match and moving on. The final of the O'Sullivan Cup Final is to be played against Clonakilty. The date has been set for Sunday October 25th 2009 and the venue is Muskerry, but there is no kick off time yet. No match next Sunday as they players have a well earned rest. Upcoming J2 Fixtures:
