The J2s suffered another heavy defeat. Again it was chiefly due to lack of numbers and players not turning up. It was unfortunate for the players who did turn up that others didn't bother showing up. The team found itself with 12 players before kick off. With coach Dave Kingston filling in the team started with 13 players against Cobh's fifteen. The main problem was off any first phase possession by Cobh they constantly had a 2 man overlap. This eventually told, with Cobh running in tries with ease when they spread the ball wide to their wingers. Crosshaven played as best as they could even threatening Cobh's line on a couple of occasions. Ultimately it was a disappointing morning, but the team can only continue on and try and plan for the next match in two weeks time, the team having a break this weekend.
