The J2s had a narrow loss to Bantry at home last Sunday February 14th. Some silly mistakes and lapses in concentration let Bantry take a 20 - 0 lead at half time. The lads showed some good character to claw their way back into the match and were camped in Bantry's '22 for the last 10 minutes looking for the converted try that would draw the match. It was an encouraging performance from a young team that lacks some experienced players, with a large number of players having started rugby this year. They will benefit hugely from these types of matches. It is on to Killarney , Saturday February 20th 2010 with the match kicking off at 2.30pm. The lads will be hoping for a long awaited (and deserved) win tomorrow.
