Crosshaven beat a good Skibbereen side in the J2 Plate first round last Sunday March 28th 2010. Skibbereen fielded a good side and the game was very close throughout. Crosshaven had the better of the possession/territory but were unable to capitalise on good positions with several penalty misses. A try with 10 minutes left secured the win for Crosshaven and progressed them to the quarter final of the Plate with a match against Kanturk. This match is scheduled to be played on Sunday April 11th 2010.
