Old Christians 5 - Crosshaven 64
(Thanks to Sean Taylor for the following report on the 15s first match the year)

Our u15s had their first run out of the season last Saturday September 26th away to Old Christians.  The scoreline might suggest a run away win, however, the first half of the game was a good contest with Crosshaven going into the break 21 points to nil up.  Old Christians scored first after the break and looked like making a game of it.  Strong driving play by the Crosshaven pack put us on the front foot again however, and allowed the Crosshaven backs to profit.  This was a good performance all round against a side who have run us close for the last two or three seasons. The lads will need to improve in their decision making next Saturday October 3rd 2009 when they take on Carrigaline away, in what is always a hard fought local derby.
