This was a heartily contested game from start to finish. The scoreline belies the initiative, ability and strength Cork Con brought to the game. But Crosshaven were deserved victors having played well throughout with the possible exception of a quiet period in the second half. The team kept a good structure bringing the forwards and backs into the game. Four tries were scored by Oisin Conway who also converted one with Josh Hogan converting another.
The game was brought to a halt in the first half when a Crosshaven player Criofan Guilfoyle was injured and a Cork Con player was also brought to hospital. Both are believed to be well and the trips were primarily precautionary.

Referee: Danny Rock (Crosshaven)

Next match at home to Kinsale on November 13th/14th (to be confirmed). Training as usual on November 6th 10am.
