Match report for the Under 19's V Middleton:
Peter Dowling added a fine try after a sublime blind side move which showed the imagination and skills of the team, a superb a move off the base of the scrum, which left Cian Mc Govern free to pin down the defence with a jinking run and a juggling act, leaving Peter free to strectch his legs a sprint from the 22 to score under the posts. Cian followed up on his fine distribution and tactical kicking with a fine try which saw him leave what was left of the Middleton defence in disarray. All around the park there were solid performances James Rochford tackled all day not allowing any attack to form, Brian Walsh and Ben Crumplin added lots of hard yards and a real atacking option. Unfortunately the match was brought to a premature end by a painful injury to Jack Murphy who dislocated his 'Good' shoulder, Jack togged off carrying a shoulder injury, not that you would notice from his committment and strength in the tackle. Jack will be sidlined for a few weeks. The Middleton team showed great sportsmanship and respect for Jack despite what was a very bad day in the office. Upcoming Under 19 Fixture: Saturday October 31st 2009: HOME to Sundays Well KO tbc
